João Lourenço

João Lourenço is an architect, project manager and founder of COLUNA. His practice brings together architecture, technical coordination, integrated project management and asset assessment, supporting each project from strategic definition and team organisation through to delivery.

With experience in refurbishment, hospitality, residential developments and technically complex projects, he is recognised for his ability to coordinate multiple disciplines, structure processes and translate complex information into clear, well-founded decisions. In leading projects, he values technical rigour, accountability, transparent communication and the development of trusted relationships between clients, design teams and contractors.

He is an Associate Member of RICS, working within the field of Building Surveying, a member of the Project Management Institute, and holds the buildingSMART Professional Certification – Foundation. His professional development reflects an ongoing commitment to project management and to the application of BIM as a collaborative approach to the production, organisation and management of information, enabling clearer, more integrated and more efficient project delivery.
