The upgrade of the Penedo car park, within Monsanto Forest Park, set out to transform a disorganised and technically degraded public parking area into a clearer, more accessible and better integrated piece of public infrastructure. COLUNA supported the project through Integrated Design, delivering the functional reorganisation of the parking area, improved pedestrian accessibility, a new drainage strategy and a landscape-led approach focused on soil permeability, tree preservation and the overall qualification of the public realm.
